Horses - Canadian, the breed : today, March 4, 2007, my friend took me to two horse ranches, both featuring the breed - Canadian, an old line of cart horse out of Quebec. These were all black ones. There were some - Warm Bloods - and some Arab mixes.. At the second ranch, today was the day to release them from their temporary paddocks into 27 acres of trees, grass, 3 ponds, and fresh muddy roads to roll in. These photos do not do justice to their delight in running pellmell and munching on all that new grass!
